Evolution and the Purging of Out Dated Social Media

New York, NY – October 11, 2022 - Orndee PR Statement on New Social Media Protocol and Policy

For the past several years we have shied away from brand promotion. Many of our current and former clients are the family members of victims of some of the most horrific crimes, including murders and school shootings. Others have suffered public canceling or cyber harassment campaigns that have destroyed their lives. Talking about our brand in relation to those clients seemed insensitive and opportunistic, so we rarely made social media posts or discussed our clients with the media, outside of the context of protecting them or advancing their individual goals.

We are deeply honored to arguably be regarded as the preeminent crisis management firm specializing in cyber harassment and cyber terror, especially against victims in high profile cases. An honor that we intend to continue to earn on a daily basis. But, through success, our client base has evolved and expanded and now includes some of the most famous (and infamous) personalities in the world of music, entertainment, sports, and politics who are facing their own personal and brand crises.

In addition to complete crisis management and public relations services. We provide litigation strategy to many clients compelled to take on major corporations and powerful figures and we are involved in cases that regularly make the headlines. Additionally, we have solidified relationships with longtime production partners giving us unprecedented abilities to help our clients tell their stories through film, TV, documentaries, and publishing.

Like the rest of t he world, we were deeply affected by COVID. Over an eighteen month stretch, every team member tested positive for COVID, our founder had a heart attack, and we were unable to use our mid-town offices due to restrictions. That made us rethink the way that we do business, the way our staff works with each other, and the way we work with our clients. It has made us all reflect on our last 13 years in business and make plans for the next 13 years.

We have expanded, evolved, and changed.

Because of that change, we have decided that after extended social media inaction, we have purged our Twitter account and are starting over. We are also pruning or purging our other social media accounts. If you follow our founder Alexandrea Merrell, you will know that she is a proponent of intentional “do overs” and we feel that fresh engagement is warranted and pretty exciting. In fact, we may do this every year!

Lots of things are happening behind the scenes and interesting partnerships and announcements are coming shortly. We hope that you will continue to engage with us and follow our evolution.
